Quotes to Motivate YOU | The Keeper Diaries
There used to be days when at nights I used to be alone and I was sad and lonely. Those days are long gone. Now, the nights are meant to motivate me. These are now the sacred moments I spend with myself to love my soul.
Don't waste your nights thinking about the world or other people. Think about yourself. Be a bit selfish this time. Give all the love to yourself and motivate yourself for the war with the world the next day.
Quotes to Motivate YOU | The Keeper Diaries
Some things that you should do more often and not just today but every day. For now, start with today and take it forward.
Smiling gives joy to you and the people you meet. Patience will give you time to think about everything with little more attention and will improve your decision making. Meditation is for your soul, it becomes weak with day to day activities. So, give your soul some time by meditating. At last, spend time with yourself, look at your decisions, motivate yourself, and love yourself.
Quotes to Motivate YOU | The Keeper Diaries
It's difficult to be the best each day. Everyone goes through bad days and the motivation you need is somewhere broken. But, do you give up? 'No' should be the answer.
You find that lost motivation and start again to be the best Version of yourself.
Quotes to Motivate YOU | The Keeper Diaries
It looks like we are moving towards the wrong direction, that is when we doubt ourselves. It's not bad to doubt yourself but, it lowers down your confidence and you cannot give your 100% to your goal.
Start trusting yourself more. That will help you to be more confident and you'll be invincible. Keep moving towards your goal with full trust in yourself and you will get the best results.

How to be who you are? | The Keeper Diaries

How to be who you are?

You might be wondering what exactly is this blog about? I think this is one of the most important blogs that I have posted in a while.

So, what exactly is this blog about?
It’s about being what your personality is and not hiding what you really are from anyone.

You might ask, why exactly is this important?
I cannot explain enough; how important this is because each one of us has different personalities which make us stand out from the rest. Being who you do not only give you confidence but also provide you with the freedom to manoeuvre your life in the way you want it to go.

How to be who you are? | The Keeper Diaries

I have personally been in situations where I lost myself to the pressure from the surroundings and my peers.
There will be times when you are not confident enough to choose a path for your future. So, people do that for you. It might be your parents or your friends.
But, How and when do we get into such circumstances?
You might blame others at that time but, one thing you need to understand is everything wrong or right that happens in your life is because of you. Only you are accountable for all that’s happening in your life. If you would have been confident enough to make decisions for yourself then, such circumstances would never occur.
There are a few things that you should do in order to be connected to yourself and not lose your identity to others.

1. Be Confident

This should be a blog in itself, ‘How to be confident’ I guess. But, let’s leave that for another day.
This is one and the only definite way to be who you are. To show your inner personality to the world, you first have to be confident in yourself.
Confidence comes from within, not from the outside. You have to start trusting yourself that whatever you are doing is right and you are accountable for whatever goes wrong in your life. Start making your decisions wisely and find time for yourself each day to look back at your decisions and learn each day.

2. Don’t Limit yourself

So basically, to be the one you already are is not a big thing, right? But for most of the folks around it is difficult to understand what I am trying to say. We set standards before knowing our own potential and that's where we restrict ourselves. Limits are not for human beings and obviously they can be positive or negative so, choose wisely and look deeper into it. There is no manual to life it’s better not to find one.

3. Find some alone time

I want to keep this point to the top but, not everyone finds their strength from some alone time. Some of us like to be around people to boost ourselves to the top. However, most of us can get benefitted by spending some time with ourselves. The time you are with your soul and your mind, it will re-energize you and will give you the clarity of mind you need to begin thinking about your own priorities and how you want to lead your life.

4. Peer pressure

This is one thing that will never let you find the strength to come out from your fears. The outside pressure created by our peers is something we all need to face.
Why exactly do we get affected by peer pressure?
The feeling of not being good enough in front of our friends or the insecurity of being left alone is what leads to this peer pressure. Yes, the people around you also make a difference but, what you can control is what matters.
Overcome this fear of peer pressure by following the above steps: Being confident and finding some alone time.

I’m sure you will find your soul, your passion and what you really are by doing these things. If there is something you would like to add then just put it in the comments section and if I feel it resonates with the topic I will surely share it with everyone.

How to relieve yourself from pressure of life?

You must have heard this a thousand times that life is hard or life is unfair and many more things.
I don't agree with any of this statement. I think we make life hard by bringing a lot of complications, by setting unreal standards, by working for materialistic possessions.

How does life get to put so much pressure on us?
I think you got the answer to this question in the first paragraph itself. It's not life, it's you.

But, if you still feel the pressure each day then how can it be reduced or completely removed?
I hope you will find the answer to this by the end of this small yet effective blog post.

How to move on from difficult situations?

When we hear about moving on the only thing that comes to our mind is our last relationship. But that’s not all. Sometimes we need to move on from certain situations and circumstances. Losing someone close forever or getting fired from a job you loved. There will come many instances when you will have to be strong and move on. It gets difficult at times.

Is there really a strategy to move on?
I think there is.

I have collected 4 major points that will help you move on from all your unworthy past. But, remember this, nothing can actually help you if you yourself are not up for this task. Moving on is easy. I’ve done it. People all over the world do it several times a day. So can you. Just trust yourself and move forward.

I Still Hope | Poem

I Still Hope | Poem

I found you in starting of my career standing across the hallway with a beer.
I kept staring at that beautiful smile for god knows how long until I heard a song.
People started dancing to the beats which were on repeat and I quickly found myself closer to your seat.

I Still Hope | Poem

Couldn’t say a word, still mesmerized by that smile until, until, you asked. “Have I seen you somewhere?”
And the story began of me falling for you every day and wanting you to stay until my hair turns grey.
As beautiful as it was, didn’t last much longer, as I was still stuck there and you wandered.

I tried to an extent you can't imagine, the ego that I had, was boiled out of my blood.
I was so in love that I never asked do you also love me back.
I was so in love that I forgot both players have to run to keep the score ticking.
Life got stuck or I should say, I was stuck while the life kept moving
Three long dreadful years taught me one thing for sure, love with all you have but don't forget to tell that you love her.
I made that mistake and faced the consequences, stuck for years, waiting for years with the hope she'll return.

I still hope…

I hope you enjoyed reading this poem. If you have any suggestion or feedback do tell me in the comments section :)

Interview with Pratishtha Patny (thepratishtha)

Interview with Pratishtha Patny (thepratishtha)

Today we’ve got ourselves a writer cum motivational speaker with us. The sole admin of the Instagram page @thepratishtha. Her page bio speaks for itself “My goal is to help you win at life”. She is working hard on motivating other people with her Instagram lives and posts and I’m pretty sure she will be providing valuable content on YouTube soon.
She started her page by sharing quotes on Instagram but soon shifted to sharing motivational content. Let’s ask her what changed her mind and what more secrets are hidden under her sleeve.

Interview with Pratishtha Patny (Thepratishtha)
"Every second of the day you make a conscious decision of what you want to focus on. There will always be a million things going wrong in your life and what you could complain about. What matters is if you choose to look at them or to be grateful and keep striving for better.
No matter what your goals and dreams are, positivity is a weapon that will lead you to victory in every battle.
Do you choose positivity today?"
-ThePratishtha

How did you start your Instagram journey?
I started my Instagram journey as a quotes page on a random night, and I didn't really have any long-term plans back then. I just believed that I could do anything, and I went ahead with it. I had found this really useful app called Canva, which brought out my creative and motivational side. I always knew I can motivate people and bring out their better side.

What made you switch from sharing quotes to being a motivational speaker?
I always wanted to motivate people to get into action and take charge of their lives. I was waiting for a chance to switch, but I also knew that it's kind of a drastic change and I would lose a lot of followers too, because followers come with a certain expectation to your page, and when you rebrand the page, a lot of them would certainly leave. It's actually with your help that I was able to finally rebrand the page. You gave me some ideas on how I could actually switch over, and I was in a less risky space to take that step, so I did. :)

Do you think you have the adequate experience in life to motivate and inspire others?
I'm glad you asked me this question. So I see that most people tend to spend their lives pondering and deliberating, instead of experimenting and executing, and I have been the person who always went for whatever she wanted to achieve. Once you do that, you get exposed to a variety of experiences and loads of learning. It is that learning that I know set me apart from the others and make me eligible to attempt to inspire others to do the same.

What do you think are the major problems in youth that need to be addressed immediately?
Great question! According to me, it's learned helplessness. Most of us are just following paths already laid out for us, and we feel like we HAVE to do stuff. We HAVE to do what we're told to do, we HAVE to do engineering, we HAVE to restrict ourselves etc. It's like we either don't dream big, or we dream impractically. We dream sitting on the sofa, or lying down on the bed while scrolling through social media for hours and hours, and not do anything about anything. The worst part about this is that we are living in an era where it's realllyyyy easy to start, and we still choose to just ponder. We NEED to realize that it's in our hands to make a change.

India has great motivational speakers like Sandeep Maheshwari and Vivek Bindra. What makes you different from them?
Sandeep Maheshwari is a great speaker, but he doesn't provide personalized, structured and quantifiable results through courses, which is exactly what I do.
Vivek Bindra is a business coach and Leadership Consultant and is more focused towards entrepreneurship and business, whereas my course would be open for all and will go into depth based on the requirements of the course attendees. People from all age groups, backgrounds, countries and jobs are equally eligible and welcome for my courses.

Do you read as well? Any Favourites?
Yes, I actually read quite a lot. That's where most of my mindset comes from. :) I mostly love and read non- fiction (like Robin Sharma, Chicken Soup series, How to be a Bawse, etc.), but I also enjoy comics like Tintin and novels by Sidney Sheldon and Nora Roberts. <3

What are your future plans?
The bigger picture for me here is to inspire as many people as deeply as possible. I want to bridge the gap between motivational speaking and actually inspiring people. I plan to do that by giving detailed and personalized explanations and solutions to everyone on how to get the life they always wanted. I strive to be directly approachable to people with the challenges that they face, instead of just making generic speeches. So, I'm currently working on setting up a series of courses on various topics like overcoming procrastination, developing self-confidence, improving social relationships, etc.

This was Pratishtha Patny with us on the fourth blog in this segment of raw writers of Instagram. You can follow her on Instagram at @thepratishtha.
